Kraig M. Schutter
Kraig
M. Schutter earned his Master of the Laws degree in Labor Law at
Wayne State University following graduation from Thomas M. Cooley
Law School, where he focused his studies in the area of labor and
employment law. While attending Cooley Law School, Kraig was awarded
the Certificate of Merit in Labor Law. Before joiningMasud,
Patterson, Schutter, Peters & Vary, P.C., Kraig served
as a law clerk in the Michigan Attorney General’s Office and also
taught law courses as an adjunct professor at Davenport University
in Grand Rapids.
Kraig has authored numerous articles for various publications relating to labor
and employment law. He also serves as a featured speaker and trainer for a variety
of employer organizations.
Kraig is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the American
Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan. He has served on the Board of
Directors of the Valley Society of Human Resource Managers, holding offices
of President and Secretary. He is also a member of the Saginaw Valley Manufacturers'
Association and the Michigan Public Employer Labor Relations Association.
Kraig assists clients in all labor and employment law matters. He is admitted
to practice in all federal and state courts for the State of Michigan, including
the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
