Katherine S. Gardner
Katherine
S. Gardner graduated cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where she received
Certificates of Merit in Contract Law and Criminal Law, as well as the Raymond
Burr Award, Sol Siegel Award and Shane Johnson Scholarship for academic excellence.
Kathy was also a member of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
While attending law school, Kathy participated in the 60+ Elderlaw Clinic,
providing pro bono legal services to low income seniors in the Lansing area.
Prior to entering law school, she worked as a legal assistant, and has experience
in the areas of civil litigation as well as workers' compensation.
Kathy is a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar
Association and the State Bar of Michigan. She is also a member of the Valley
Society of Human Resource Managers.
Kathy assists clients in all labor and employment law matters. She is a frequent
author of articles on topics related to labor and employment law. She is admitted
to practice in all federal and state courts for the State of Michigan, including
the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Kathy is also a member of the Women Lawyer
Association of Michigan.
